Tamcos Training Ltd is a Work Based Learning training company based in St Helens, Merseyside.
It was established in 1987.  

The company is committed to providing quality training programmes to enable the young people of the Borough to gain valuable work experience and the opportunity to gain occupational awards in their chosen sector.

We aim to uphold the highest standards of training and assessment in line with National guidelines, and ensure equality of opportunity to all young people including those identified as having additional needs.  Our commitment to young people with difficulties is demonstrated through feedback and their achievement of identified targets.

Sector and Programme details

We have developed a range of flexible programmes to respond to local needs, and at the same time give young people the opportunity to study a recognised qualification in Health & Social Care and gain valuable work experience in the sector. 

Tamcos has a contract with Greater Merseyside Learning & Skills Council to offer:

Apprenticeships, Advanced Apprenticeships in Children’s Care, Learning & Development and Health & Social Care.

We also have a Train to Gain Regional Response contract for Health & Social Care NVQ 2.
